A typical day in the Casa consists of:

Morning:
 
Morning walk
  • Wake up

  • Get ready

  • Morning walk- exercise and reflection

  • Prepare and enjoy breakfast

  • Morning chores- laundry, cleaning, etc


Check up
  • Daily medical check-ups

  • Drop off/pick up of women from Hospital Regional

Afternoon:
 
  • Prepare and enjoy lunch

  • Community Building - crafts, sewing, games

  • Educational Workshops - emphasis on personal hygiene, reproductive rights, STDs, nutrition, self-esteem, risk factors and signs of danger in pregnancy and newborn care

Mothers Cooking
Night: (one Casa staff member always stays overnight)
 
  • Prepare and enjoy dinner

  • Relaxation & Sleeping
